By now you have most likely found out that short sales are neither short nor well defined. In fact their rather confusing.
Once your decide to go forward with a short sale you focus on what your short sale agent told you to do and what to and expect of your lender. Then your lender throws you a curve ball. Your lender wants to work with you right? Then why do they do these confusing things during your short sale?
You get calls, from their collections department,this dept has no clue your doing a short sale nor do they care,their job is to get you to make a payment. Don’t ignore them, answer the phone and take control. Tell them your doing a short sale and give them your short sale agents direct phone number. After hearing this a few time they will stop calling.
